Hi there! We are Justix GmbH, an international company builder for LegalTech businesses. We build companies which combine advanced technological capabilities with in-depth industry expertise, very large data sets and entrepreneurial execution. Our mission is to make legal simple & easy with great technology. Founded in February 2017 by experienced entrepreneurs and funded by a large family-owned industry leader, Justix grew very quickly into an international team of currently 30+ employees in Cologne (DE) and 60+ employees in Maastricht (NL). Our venture HelloLaw.com already has already helped 100,000+ customers solve their legal issues and is now on the verge of going international in many more European countries. We have very ambitious goals and we enjoy working on them together as one team with as little hierarchy, vanity and boredom as possible.

For our headquarters in Cologne, we are currently looking for a Head of Operations, Processes and Efficiency (m/f)

Requirements
Your tasks

Identifying, building and documenting processes for all operational tasks in the company: from customer intake to administrative processes like payment and controlling as well as the efficient management of internal resources

Controlling the professional and efficient execution of these processes

Coaching people on how work best within the configured processes

Optimizing processes continuously closely aligned with management and based on KPIs which you define and control yourself

Structuring teams and defining organizational charts / RACI matrix

Overseeing everyone and everything around daily operations: from efficient legal operations towards the customer, to daily finance and tax processes and office management in our Cologne and Maastricht offices

Preparing reports about operations efficiency

Planning and anticipating resources regarding both items and people (in conjunction with HR, but also non-HR departments)

Your profile

5+ years of professional experience, e.g. as a management consultant and/or supply chain or process optimization specialist

Very structured analytical mind with a relentless drive for optimization

A true pacemaker: ambitious, pragmatic, impatient and hands-on, but still empathic

You love building processes and having everything under control at any given time

You know how to lead people and numbers in the right direction with the right pace

Clever communicator who manages to tell people they have to run 20% quicker – if needed, you build a process with them to show them how to do so and continuously monitor their performance

You have your own way of improving processes and you are able to clearly communicate it
